- Open music, notebook, instrument accessories or art materials before joining so the session can stay focused.

Progress needs memory, not proximity.
Online learners follow a developing programme rather than isolated calls. Repertoire, exercises, creative tasks and teacher observations form a thread from one lesson to the next. Families can ask what the present focus is, what evidence of progress to look for and when a goal should be refreshed.

What happens if there is noticeable audio delay?
Teacher and learner generally avoid trying to perform simultaneously over the call. Instead they use alternating demonstration and response, counted entries, backing references and visual pulse where useful.
Can a beginner start online?
Yes in many disciplines. Suitability depends on age, setup and the kind of physical feedback required. A trial gives better evidence than a blanket rule.
How are materials shared?
